Let me tell you a little story.... it won't take long! It happened just about 2 weeks ago. My friend and I were just leaving a Randolph County United after-hours event. In the moment, we decided to take off to Muncie for dinner. On the way we were just talking about life and business including marketing ideas and how to reach the right audience. She says to me, "We are close friends, and I don't even know what you do all day!"
WHAT?
Of course, this got me thinking!! If one of my closest friends doesn't know, then I'm guessing YOU don't know either!
To keep it simple, each day I wake up, I get to help other people!
I teach group fitness classes at our local YMCA. Our class wakes up early, sweats, smiles, and laughs together! I love helping start their day in the best way I know how! #wakeupandworkout
Up next, I come home to wake up my boys for school. I've learned that I set the tone for how my boys' days begin. No screaming or light switch flipping, and I try to make sure my mindset is in the right place!! I have created a morning routine we all love! After school drop off, I start to work.
But what do I do all day?
There is a lot of computer work, emails, phone calls, client meetings, more phone calls, and being on hold! Each task I do is to help someone else. Of course, sometimes I need to balance the books and work on continuing education, but again these tasks allow me to stay in business and continue helping people!
Some people think I'm in Sales; selling people insurance policies! That is just not true!
Don't think of me as a salesperson. I am a friend that gives you all the answers and simplifies your Medicare options!
And finally, my evenings: family, friends, functions, etc. Whatever I want to do, or needs done. Sometimes a client needs a 6pm appointment, and other nights we are at the school for my boys activities! Summer is coming so that means marching band and swimming competitions!!
