Hey Friends!
It's been over a month since I posted... work has been busy (that is GREAT and it's because YOU, my clients, are satisfied and keep referring my business), life with kids is amazing (we are spending time together this summer and making each moment count), plus I just traveled to Mountain T.O.P. and annual certifications just opened!
So, let's talk about Mountain T.O.P. for a moment....
If you don't know about it - just ask - this will be a brief overview, but I could share on this topic for hours!
This is my 4th year attending MTOP. I started back in 2019 once Cade was old enough to attend, but I sat in church service hearing about the experience for many years. One week on the Mountain, can change a life - I know it added to mine and gave my son perspective!!
This year, I traveled down South with the Anderson family. My son could not commit to attending due to his leadership responsibilities with The Force Marching Band. I had so many reasons to not go... but I knew committing to the 7 days up on the Mountain would be good for my heart, head, and spirit!
Without boring you with ALL the details, while on the Mountain, we dive into our connection with our Lord, serving others who are less fortunate, and connecting/building relationships with like-minded people. This year I had the opportunity to serve children in Day Camp. Each day we picked up kids and took them back to the church for games, crafts, story time, and socialization. Plus, each day we went on a short field trip within the county: military museum, a local bakery (The Dutch Maid Bakery which was recently highlighted on The Food Network), fire department, and a family friendly farm (I literally had to step around cow patties - NOT COOL).
These kids do not have a lot of privileges - it's one of the poorest counties in Tennessee - BUT the kids are amazing! They love life. They know they can succeed. They know that working together within the community, helping each other, and believing in oneself they can succeed!!
Besides that, while at MTOP - each day we intentionally spend 4 times to STOP and focus on connecting with God.
Morning Day Break at 8am
Mid-Day Day Break
Sharing at camp 7pm
and Worship service 8:30pm
While I'm home, I'll be honest, I don't take 4 times each day to stop, read, connect, and focus on God. THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART OF CAMP. The personal time plus the community time hearing about other's experiences throughout the day.
Once I return home:
I FEEL REJUENTATED.
I HAVE BUILT A STRONGER RELATIONSHIP TO CHRIST.
I HAVE LEARNED MORE ABOUT MYSELF AND MY PURPOSE.
If this is your first time reading my blog - my passion and purpose is to help other people every day. If you are a client, my goal is to help you understand all Medicare options. I AM NOT A SALESPERSON and I never want you to feel pressured. I feel blessed to work this career knowing I help people understand ALL options available.
MTOP always helps me focus, always provides perspective, and always allows me time to reflect. From this moment I'm typing, I do not know what the future holds, but I know what I read in the Bible:
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".
This verse got me through a tough time a few years ago, and I know it will continue to help me NOW and FOREVER!!
Ok - now check out these amazing pictures!

I have just begun my annual certifications. I must take these certifications to help my clients with PDP (prescription drug plans) and MA (Medicare Advantage plans). I must take 24 CE credits within 24 months for my license, but I'm also required do annual studies for these plans! This certification keeps me up to date on all changes to your plans, any federal government Medicare changes, and more.
I'm still available for appointments and to help new and current clients... but remember - I do not have set hour office. Please call first for an appointment!
Just a reminder, all my Medicare services are value-added. That means I do not charge ANY fees for consultations, phone calls, cost comparisons, Medicaid discussions, and more! You can reach me direct on my cell phone at 765-546-1516 or our website.
